Volunteer for the Mid-Maryland Celtic Festival  June 16, 2018

Mount Airy Fire Department Carnival Grounds
1003 Twin Arch Road,
Mount Airy, MD 21771

Experience Scotland and the Celtic Nations culture and heritage without the airfare! Help us and then watch the Highland athletic games; listen to Celtic rock, traditional music, and bagpipes; enjoy the children’s area, dog events, and much more!

Volunteers get FREE festival admission, light refreshments in the Volunteer Hall, festival t-shirt*, and a festival souvenir.

A great experience and community service opportunity!

Support our designated Charity—Hero Dogs!

Without our volunteers, out Celtic festival would not be possible.

Meet our Volunteer and Festival Ambassador!

Dorothy Penders

From Dundee, Scotland, Dorothy is a true volunteer and Ambassador. A Founding Member of our Society, long-time Scottish Country Dancer, the force behind our Burns Nicht Supper, and leader of festival volunteers for many years, are only a few of Dorothy’s enduring volunteer contributions to further our Scottish heritage and culture.

According to a recent Harvard study: “People who volunteer live longer and happier lives …”

Volunteer! It’s good for you!

* As it takes time to print the festival t-shirts, after April 30th we will do our best to honor your specific requested size, but cannot guarantee the size. You will still get a t-shirt even if you sign up after that date.
