We are proud to announce that Colonel Ramona Fiorey is the first Honorary Chairperson for the Frederick Celtic Festival.

This year’s festival honors Wounded Warriors and it is fitting that caregivers from the military’s premier medical center are represented and acknowledged.

Colonel Fiorey currently serves as the Chief of Staff for the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center Bethesda – the largest military medical center in the U.S. and the first destination in the continental United States to care for the wounded, ill and injured from global conflicts.

She joined the Army Nurse Corps in 1987 and has served in positions various leadership positions at Army hospitals from Alaska to Hawaii to North Carolina. Colonel Fiorey’s career achievements have been recognized through numerous awards.

Hailing from Gordon, Georgia and of Scottish decent, Colonel Fiorey comes to the festival to honor Wounded Warriors and their caregivers and celebrate all things Scottish.
