CPT (Ret) Mark Little
After serving 4 years enlisted as a Sapper Platoon Squad Leader, Mark commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army.
As a Lieutenant, Mark deployed with the 3rd Infantry Division to Iraq.In 99 days of operations, Mark led over 150 combat patrols, was struck by 3 IED’s, awarded 2 Purple Hearts and the Bronze Star.
On September 7th, 2007; Mark’s final IED caused him to lose both of his legs below the knee and sent him to Walter Reed for recovery.
Following recovery, Mark has become an avid cross fitter, a member of the Scottish American Military Society, and has thoroughly enjoyed training for this Summer’s Frederick Highland Games!
